Privacy Notice

Your data and the security of it is very important and I am committed to maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

Your information will not be sold, rented or traded with any other companies and or businesses for marketing purposes.

This privacy notice explains when, and why your personal information is collected, how I use it, including the limited conditions which I may disclose it to others, and how I keep it secured.

 

For each client attending an appointment on or after 25th May 2018, I will ask you to sign to say you agree to the terms of this notice. You can access it at anytime via my website. 

 

The information you provide is processed to be able to contact you about your appointment(s). Your telephone number and email address is only used in connection with the treatment you have requested and confirmation/appointment reminders will be made only relating to this event. Your address will be requested if a patch test is required to be posted out to you.

 

The information you provide via the ‘contact me’ tab on my website gets sent directly to my email and allows me to respond to your enquiry.

 

When you arrive for your appointment, there will be consultation form(s) to complete and these are stored in a secure cabinet, and updated each time you come to see me for a treatment.

 

Before carrying out a treatment, it is necessary to request information because I rely on a contractual obligation to be able to provide you with a treatment. I require your consent to process your health information because without it, a treatment cannot go ahead. The reason I collect this information is to check your suitability to a treatment and to make sure a treatment is safe to carry out. 

 

Where medical referral is needed, I request a letter from your GP/health practitioner to obtain their consent. The only other time your information would be shared is when I am contractually required to do so (and I will make you aware of this). 

 

You are entitled to view or amend your details should you wish and have the right to request deletion of pictures used for marketing purposes. 

 

Your data will be stored safely for up to 7 years or as long as contractually obliged, after this time your information will be safely shredded and disposed of. 

 

Any digital photographs will be stored securely and are password protected.
